EMRISE CORPORATION RECEIVES $200,000 INITIAL ORDER FOR POWER SUPPLIES FOR U.S. BLACK HAWK HELICOPTER RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, March 25, 2008 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a designer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary electronic devices and communications equipment for aerospace, defense, industrial, and communications applications, today announced that it has received an initial order of approximately $200,000 for power supplies for the U.S. Army’s UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. EMRISE President and Chief Executive Carmine T. Oliva said that the order is the first of what the Company believes will be a number of orders for the Black Hawk helicopter program. Deliveries of this initial order are expected to ship within the next 90 days. The order was received by the Company’s subsidiary, RO Associates, Inc. (ROA), located in San Jose, Calif. ROA manufactures and markets power supply products for the U.S. military and aerospace markets. The addition of products through the acquisition of ROA in September 2005 complements EMRISE’s existing line of power supply products for military and commercial aerospace, industrial and communications markets in the U.S., Europe and Asia. “We are very pleased to be awarded this new order for the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter,” Oliva said. “We expect to capture further business on this and other Black Hawk-related programs in the future and view this order as an important strategic win for EMRISE. Because of the combined technology and capability of our multi-national group of power supply companies we are now beginning to realize potential for deeper penetration into U.S., European and Asian markets for all EMRISE products.” Oliva added that, since acquiring ROA, EMRISE has shifted the subsidiary’s strategic focus to power supplies for hostile-environment aerospace and military programs. Oliva said he believes that these orders are solid evidence of the success of the Company’s strategy for the U.S. market, as ROA’s backlog is now at record levels since being acquired.
